Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona, Spain. This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets, combining commissioning and service support with remote diagnostics to ensure turbine reliability throughout the lifecycle.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, while driving continuous improvement and data-driven fault analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operation environments.
• Fluent English, EU work eligibility, and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with on-call support during weekends/public holidays.
