Job summary

GE Vernova is hiring a ROC Technical Lead in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and support commissioning and service activities across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, analyze data for faults and trends, and drive continuous improvement while adapting to rotating shifts and occasional on-call weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems exposure in operations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical, structured communication and proactive collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of time and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data for faults, trends, and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outages with safety and compliance in mind.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
