GE Vernova Barcelona seeks a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center (Wind). You will monitor offshore wind assets from a control room, diagnose issues, and guide commissioning and service activities to maximize turbine performance.

You will collaborate with site teams, analyze data for faults and improvements, and contribute to safe, efficient operations. Travel up to 20% may be required, and relocation to Barcelona is expected for eligible candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
