Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona to supervise offshore wind assets, diagnose issues, and drive reliability. You will collaborate with site teams and engineers, analyze data, and support commissioning and service activities.

You will travel up to 20% of the time, relocate to Barcelona, and communicate in fluent English as part of a global operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
