GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to maintain reliability and performance across the lifecycle.

The role involves analyzing data, supporting commissioning, and driving process improvements, with a focus on safety and scalable operations. Travel up to 20% and relocation to Barcelona are expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility; willing to relocate to Barcelona.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
