Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will oversee safe, efficient offshore wind asset operation, guiding commissioning and service phases, and coordinating with site teams and engineering experts.

You’ll monitor turbines, perform remote diagnostics, issue resolutions, and contribute to continuous improvement while traveling up to 20% as needed and relocating to Barcelona.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience.
Experience reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics.
Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
Analyze operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvements.
Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
