Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for its Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor offshore wind assets, perform remote diagnostics, and collaborate with site teams to detect and resolve issues, ensuring safe, reliable performance across the turbine lifecycle.

You will analyze data, support commissioning and service activities, and contribute to continuous process improvements. Travel up to 20% may be required and relocation to Barcelona is expected for eligible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with wind turbines or electromechanical systems in operational settings.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot field issues.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work a rotating weekday shift with on-call weekends/public holidays.
