Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for the Remote Operations Center in Barcelona to oversee offshore wind assets. You will monitor turbines, diagnose issues remotely, and guide field teams through repairs to sustain performance across lifecycles.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, analyse data, and contribute to process improvements while supporting safety and compliance during grid-related outages and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays.
