GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee remote operations for offshore wind assets from a centralized operations center. You will monitor turbines, perform diagnostics, and coordinate with field teams to maintain performance and safety.

Ideal candidates have engineering degrees, hands-on wind turbine experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to relocate to Barcelona and travel up to 20% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on‑call support during weekends and public holidays
