GE Vernova’s ROC Technical Lead role in Barcelona oversees the safe operation of offshore wind assets from a remote operations center, supporting commissioning and service phases. You work closely with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related wind energy experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
• Work on a rotating weekday shift schedule with occasional on-call support during weekends and public holidays
