Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind Energy) based in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service activities with cross-functional teams.

You will analyze data, resolve faults, and help drive operational improvements while supporting safety and compliance across rotating shifts and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems operation experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical skills and clear technical communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues to restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data for faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
