To achieve this, you will execute dining protocols aligned with luxury benchmarks (such as Leading Hotels of the World and Preferred Hotels & Resorts). At the same time, you will keep dining spaces, buffet setups, and side stations orderly and well-stocked. Therefore, you will greet guests warmly, recommend menu specialties, take orders accurately, process bills through POS systems, and verify delivery slips. - Billing & Cashiering: Generate dining guest checks, manage POS transactions, process payments accurately, and close bills following accounting rules.
- Dining Station & Table Staging: Prepare dining areas, polish glassware and cutlery, and set tables according to brand styling manuals. Ensure POS terminals and handheld electronic order pads are tested before service and safely powered down afterward.
- Buffet Operations & Special Events: Assist in setting up, monitoring, replenishing, and clearing buffet stations. Furthermore, collaborate with venue managers in organizing and servicing private events and banquets.
- Stock Control & Receiving: Inspect incoming beverage and food supplies against delivery slips (albaranes), store products properly, monitor current stock levels, and restock service stations.
Who You Are: The Refined Hospitality Professional
- Proven Foundations: You bring at least 2 years of professional dining service experience in 5-star luxury hotels or high-end restaurants. Direct experience within properties affiliated with Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels & Resorts is highly valued.
- Educational Background: You hold a Vocational Degree (Grado Medio o Superior) in Restaurant Service (Servicios de Restauración), Restaurant Direction, or equivalent hospitality training.
- The Linguist: You display B1-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Proficiency in additional international languages is considered a valuable plus.
- Technical Skills: You feel confident using hotel/restaurant management systems (POS software) and basic Microsoft Office tools.
- Key Competencies: You demonstrate polished dining etiquette, upselling capability, active listening, composure during busy service hours, and a natural passion for hospitality.
