Grand Hyatt Barcelona is seeking a committed Steward to join our Culinary team. You will ensure cleanliness and organization of all crockery, glassware, cutlery, and equipment, supporting kitchens, restaurants, and banquets.

This temporary role covers a leave of absence and requires a flexible, team-driven approach in a luxury hotel. You will work with the Culinary and F&B teams to maintain high hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced setting, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year in Stewarding or similar role.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Positive attitude with a service mindset.
• Spanish fluency is required; English is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, sanitize, and store crockery, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchens and stewarding areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely.
• Ensure clean equipment is readily available for teams.
• Support cleanliness across all food production and service areas.
• Follow hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs.
• Support waste management and recycling procedures per hotel standards.
• Collaborate with Culinary and F&B teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
