Job summary

GE Vernova in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a ROC Technical Lead to monitor offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center, supporting commissioning and service phases to keep turbines operating reliably.

You will work with site teams, analyze data, troubleshoot, and push continuous improvement, with travel up to 20% and a rotating weekday shift. Fluency in English is required; relocation to Barcelona is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in wind energy.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); willingness to relocate to Barcelona.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms and abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams to resolve issues and restore performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimization.
• Support grid outage activities with safety and compliance considerations.
• Work rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/public holidays.
