Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead to oversee offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center in Barcelona. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with site teams to ensure reliable operations.

In this role, you’ll drive continuous improvement, perform remote diagnostics, and assist field staff across commissioning and service phases. Travel up to 20% and relocation to Barcelona are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and digital monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms or abnormal conditions.
• Support commissioning and service activities through remote diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear and structured technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety and compliance.
