Saica is looking for a skilled Systems Engineer in Málaga, Andalucía to support the sales organization on various technical matters. In this role, you will assist in qualifying sales leads, serve as the main technical resource during sales calls, and aid customers with post-sales training.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and demonstrate strong knowledge in networking applications and security technologies.

Formación

• 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre‑sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
• Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, and Network Security.
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.

Responsabilidades

The Systems Engineer's main mission will be to support the sales organization in all technical matters regarding pre‑sales and sales calls.

As a Systems Engineer you will

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint (Pre‑sales)
• Be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration.
• Be conversant with networking applications and solutions.
• Provide assistance to identified customers with post‑sales training.

We Are Looking For

• 5 – 8 years experience in technical/pre‑sales support as a sales or systems engineer
• 5 – 8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
• Strong understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti‑Virus.
• Strong understanding of the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
• Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
