Job summary

Grupo Oesía in Madrid/Valdepeñas is seeking a Support Manager for Electro-Optical Systems to lead maintenance and in-service support projects. You will coordinate across technical teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure continuous service throughout the system lifecycle in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing maintenance or ISS projects.
• Experience coordinating teams, suppliers and customers.
• Knowledge of electro-optical systems, EO/IR, sensors or electronics, preferably within the Defence sector.
• Knowledge of maintenance, obsolescence management and lifecycle support.
• Proficient English and willingness to travel.
• Desirable experience with ILS, SLA, KPIs, ERP and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate maintenance and support projects for electro-optical systems.
• Connect the customer with technical teams and ensure service throughout the system's lifecycle.
• Plan and manage maintenance and support projects for electro-optical systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, HW/SW support, repairs and technical assistance.
• Manage upgrades, obsolescence and enhancements to in-service systems.
• Monitor planning, costs, risks, milestones, deliverables and KPIs.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with the customer and monitor contractual commitments.
• Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
• Support scope extensions and new requirements identified during contract execution.

We are looking for a Support Manager – Electro-Optical Systems - Global Opportunity to join our team in Madrid or Valdepeñas, working in a hybrid model.

WHAT WILL YOUR MISSION BE?

You will be responsible for driving and coordinating maintenance and support projects for electro-optical systems, connecting the customer with the different technical teams and ensuring effective service throughout the system’s entire lifecycle.

WHAT WILL YOU DO ON A DAY-TO-DAY BASIS?

• Plan and manage maintenance and support projects for electro-optical systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, HW/SW support, repairs and technical assistance.
• Manage upgrades, modifications, obsolescence and enhancements to in-service systems.
• Monitor planning, costs, risks, milestones, deliverables and KPIs.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with the customer and monitor contractual commitments.
• Coordinate internal multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.
• Support the preparation of scope extensions and new requirements identified during contract execution.
