Job summary

Grupo Oesía is seeking an experienced project leader to join our multidisciplinary team in Spain. You will design, develop and integrate high-value solutions across strategic sectors, collaborating with customers and stakeholders to deliver real impact.

You will manage scope, cost, schedule and risks, lead diverse teams, and coordinate with sales and engineering to ensure quality and timely delivery for global projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in management and direction of complex projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in the defense sector.
• Strong knowledge of the systems engineering life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive project management including financial, organizational, and HR aspects.
• Monitor and analyze project progress, ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Identify and manage requirements to maintain quality, timeliness and cost.
• Prepare progress reports, forecasts and action plans.
• Managing invoicing, revenue, and project financial close.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and drive preventive actions.
• Oversee client relationships and support Sales/Marketing in business development.
• Define, monitor and analyze KPIs and SLAs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

WHAT WILL YOUR MISSION BE?

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will design, develop and integrate technological solutions that become an essential part of high-value projects for our customers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ROLE?

• Comprehensive project management, taking responsibility for the associated financial, organizational, and human resources aspects.
• Monitoring and analysis of assigned projects, ensuring their proper execution and alignment with established objectives.
• Identification and management of project requirements to ensure the highest standards of quality, timeliness, and cost.
• Preparation of progress reports and periodic updates on the status of projects, including progress, revenue, costs, variances, and action plans.
• Preparing and updating forecasts for invoicing, revenue, and project financial close.
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, driving preventive actions to ensure the achievement of project objectives.
• Overseeing invoicing and collections processes, ensuring compliance with established deadlines.
• Managing client relationships, providing support to the Sales and Marketing departments in business development activities.
• Defining, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Coordinating with the various teams involved, ensuring smooth communication and effective decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• At least 5 years of experience in the management and direction of complex projects, performing duties similar to those described.
• Demonstrable experience in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge and experience in the defense sector.
• Solid knowledge of the systems engineering life cycle, covering all its phases: concept definition, design, development, demonstration, validation, qualification, certification, production, and commissioning.
• Ability to manage projects from technical, financial, and organizational perspectives.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the project.
