HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. in Madrid, Spain, is seeking engineers with strong experience in Substation Automation, SCADA, and protection and control systems. You will lead on-site commissioning, troubleshoot complex equipment, and ensure service activities meet safety and quality standards.

Role requires strong customer-facing skills, ability to work independently on-site, and travel up to 20%. Fluency in Spanish plus at least B2 English is expected.

Formación

• Relevant experience in Substation Automation, SCADA, Protection & Control, Power Systems or Industrial Automation environments.
• Proven experience with complex installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle service activities.
• Background in customer-facing roles, working independently on-site and managing technical responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on complex systems and equipment.
• Diagnose root causes of technical issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Execute service activities in compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, Health and Safety procedures, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Act as the main technical interface and point of contact for customers during service execution and after-service follow-up, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support customer training, technical briefings, and on-site guidance when required, providing clear technical explanations, recommendations, and improvement proposals.
• Provide technical input for service quotations, upgrades, and retrofit opportunities.
• Coordinate with service coordinators, project managers, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient execution.
