Hitachi Energy Spain is building its ES Regional Office in Madrid and seeks an experienced electrical engineer to support project execution from design to delivery for offshore platforms, data centers, and HV substations across the region.

The role focuses on leading the electromechanical scope, coordinating 3D design, preparing technical specifications, and ensuring safety and quality across projects. Fluent English required; travel up to 10% is supported.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Solid track record in electromechanical design of substations (AIS or GIS).
• Relevant High Voltage Apparatus experience and knowledge.
• BIM/3D methodology knowledge will be a plus.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety guidelines with curiosity for new technologies.
• Collaborative and solutions-oriented with knowledge of power systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate the primary electromechanical scope to ensure integrity and proper function of substation systems.
• Produce technical documentation for tender development, concept, detail design, and equipment implementation.
• Prepare and review technical specifications and validate equipment.
• Ensure alignment of 3D design/models and coordinate interfaces between civil and electromechanical disciplines.
• Provide design recommendations to meet process requirements and standards.
• Support the project team with claims on scope changes, costs, time, and risks while maintaining customer satisfaction.
