Hitachi Energy in Madrid seeks a Secondary Engineer to deliver and manage all Secondary (Control and Protection) engineering activities for HV substations across Europe. You will drive design, calculations, documentation and testing, in line with contract specs, quality standards and safety requirements.

You will collaborate with project teams, sub-suppliers and customers, coordinate protection schemes, single-line diagrams, protection selection, and LV cabling, while supporting proposals and

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Broad knowledge of substation control and protection.
• Experience with AutoCAD for design/drafting.
• Experience in HV substations and project execution.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and coordinate all secondary control and protection scope.
• Prepare designs, calculations and documentation up to close-out.
• Provide technical recommendations and risk assessments.
• Support project changes and claims with cost/time impact analysis.
• Assist in proposals and engineering estimates for sales.
• Deliver work planning and resource estimates.
• Support testing, installation and commissioning.
