Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. is seeking an experienced SCADA Expert – Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site commissioning for HVDC projects and complex substations.

You will drive SCADA testing, engage with customers, and coordinate with a multinational team to deliver critical infrastructure. The role requires at least 5 years of HVDC or substation commissioning experience, strong knowledge of protection and control, and fluency in English.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in SCADA testing and IED testing.
• HVDC/AC substation control experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Modbus, IEC 61850, IEC 104, and DNP3.0.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and execute testing and commissioning activities, coordinating test equipment.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and consultants.
• Prepare commissioning test plans and instructions; drive customer discussions.
• Witness FATs and perform SCADA system commissioning; lead team members.
• Participate in Factory System Testing (FST) activities.
• Monitor scope, work division, and delivery to meet contractual commitments.
• Identify and communicate changes to the Commissioning Manager.
• Support tender activities related to commissioning scope.
• Analyze system disturbances during commissioning and operation.
