Job summary

Planet is seeking a People Partner to act as a strategic internal partner to managers and employees in our region. You will provide local expertise to advise, coach and support the workforce, aligning HR initiatives with our software and payments solutions.

You will build trusted relationships, manage the full employee lifecycle, implement HR policies locally, handle disciplinary matters, and collaborate with Global HR Services to ensure compliant, effective people programs across our Madrid

Qualifications

• 5 years of proven experience as HR administrator or generalist.
• Solid knowledge of local labour law and employment practices.
• Experience with HRIS / ATS. Previous experience with Workday is a plus.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Proactive and creative, keen to propose solutions.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with managers and employees and act as a sparring partner on all operational and strategic HR matters.
• Support employees throughout the entire employee life cycle.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
• Implement global and central HR measures, policies and processes locally, in line with local legal, contractual and personnel requirements.
• Make sure HR processes and methodologies are clearly communicated, understood and applied.
• Handle disciplinary and employee relations matters, such as warnings and redundancies.
• Work closely with other local HR teams, Global HR and central HR Services.
