Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca invites applications for a Steward to join the Culinary team. Based at our Mallorca property, you will be responsible for washing and maintaining cleanliness of utensils and kitchen areas to support the kitchen.

You will work in a team focused on high standards of hygiene and safety, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Previous experience is preferred, and training will be provided to maintain our luxury service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Basic cleaning skills: Previous experience in cleaning and washing utensils while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of chemicals usage: Familiarity with cleaning products for dishware and utensils, using them safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail: Ensure utensils, dishware, and surfaces are thoroughly clean and free of residues or waste.
• Availability: Flexibility for rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel needs.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Steward you will be responsible for washing and maintaining cleanliness of utensils, dishes, and kitchen areas, ensuring an organized environment and adhering to basic hygiene standards to support the kitchen team.
