Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra Mallorca is seeking a Housekeeping Attendant to join its skilled team. The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the hotel’s luxury standards, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring privacy and safety.

The ideal candidate has prior housekeeping experience, can work flexible shifts, and communicates in Spanish and English. Legal work authorization in Spain is required, with opportunities to contribute to sustainability

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms to luxury hotel standards.
• Make beds, replace linens and replenish amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop and sanitize all areas of guest rooms.
• Report maintenance issues to Floor Supervisor.
• Respect guest privacy and handle belongings with care.
• Follow hygiene, safety and sanitation protocols.
• Use cleaning supplies responsibly with sustainability and cost-control in mind.
• Perform any other duties as required by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Support sustainability initiatives including waste separation and environmental policies.

About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, ensuring they meet the hotel’s luxury standards.

As Housekeeping Attendant, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:

• To clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they meet the hotel’s luxury standards.

• To make beds, replace linens, and replenish amenities, following the relevant guidelines.

• To dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all areas of the guest rooms.

• To report any maintenance issues to the Floor Supervisor for immediate action.

• To respect guest privacy, following the "Do Not Disturb" policy and handling guest belongings with care.

• To follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation protocols, ensuring a clean and secure work environment.

• To use cleaning supplies responsibly, adhering to sustainability and cost-control measures.

• To perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Executive Housekeeper.

• Contribute to the hotel’s sustainability initiatives by ensuring the proper separation and handling of waste, and by supporting the established environmental policies.

As Housekeeping Attendant, weexpectfrom you:

Experience and education

• Previous experience in the same role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts (day, afternoon, and night).

• Basic communication skills in Spanish and English.

• Professional appearance, adhering to hotel grooming standards.
