Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and operating production systems at scale.
• Experience in fintech or financial services.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design, trade-offs.
• Proven ability to design and evolve high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across critical domains and steer architectural decisions.
• Lead system design and high-leverage technical choices across teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to translate business outcomes.
• Oversee full system lifecycle from discovery to production operations and cost optimisation.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise engineering standards across the org.
• Identify systemic risks and drive initiatives to improve velocity and resilience.
• Champion testing, CI/CD, observability, and production readiness.
