Ebury's FinCore Engineering team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to modernize our FX platform, reduce technical debt, and build high-throughput backend systems. You will lead architecture choices, own delivery from discovery through production, and mentor others across Europe and South America.

We value strong domain knowledge in FinTech, excellent English, and a reliability mindset to participate in on-call rotations. This role is hybrid in Madrid with in-office and remote days.

Formación

• Deep experience building complex backend software systems in a regulated FinTech environment.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across time zones.
• Proven ability to design and own high-impact architecture and delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Architect next-gen FX by designing scalable platform services with RFC processes.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from discovery to production rollout with cross-functional teams.
• Own design, deployment, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of services.
• Refactor legacy workflows to reduce debt and improve performance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote CI/CD and testing best practices.
