Jobgether is partnering with a client in Spain to hire a Staff Architect / Tech Lead for a greenfield AI-powered Data Intelligence Platform. You will own the technical architecture, drive the engineering direction, and contribute hands-on to backend services, data pipelines, and AI-enabled workflows.

The role emphasizes scalable system design, collaboration with product and consulting teams, and the ability to operate in ambiguity while shaping long-term technical direction.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI or similar).
• Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems and data-intensive platforms.
• Deep data engineering background with ETL pipelines and large-scale data systems.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and modern data engineering ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) in production environments.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern deployment practices.
• Understanding of AI/LLM-based systems, agent architectures, or intelligent automation.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture for a new AI-driven data platform.
• Design and implement backend services, data pipelines, and integration patterns across cloud-native environments.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to engineers.
• Review code, design proposals, and engineering outputs to maintain high standards.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build and evolve data platform components including ETL pipelines and data models.
• Contribute to development of features around AI agents and system integration.
• Drive engineering best practices including testing, observability, and reliability.
