Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Senior Backend Engineer (Product Team) based in Spain to build and scale a global SaaS platform handling app performance, feedback, and analytics.

Work is fully remote with monthly in-person meetups in Europe. You will contribute to AI-powered features, data processing pipelines, and robust API services, using FastAPI, asyncio, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

Formación

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• 3+ years with asynchronous Python (asyncio).
• Strong FastAPI experience building scalable API services.
• Solid SQL skills with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ORM frameworks, preferably SQLAlchemy.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Strong unit testing with Pytest.
• Experience in distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Nice to have: NLP/LLM-based features, vector stores, and cloud exposure.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services for core product features (ratings, reviews, analytics).
• Design AI-enabled systems: semantic analysis, summarization, automation workflows.
• Build data processing pipelines for large-scale feedback and app store data.
• Improve internal/public APIs and ensure secure, scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with peers to evolve platform architecture and performance.
• Modernize legacy services while preserving stability and reliability.
• Support DevOps for smooth deployments across environments.
• Apply coding standards and testing strategies for quality delivery.
