Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Valencia, Spain is seeking a Staff Analog IC Designer to lead and contribute to high-performance mixed-signal device design within the Custom Silicon Solutions Group. You will own blocks from architecture to implementation and collaborate with global teams across multiple sites.

The role requires 8+ years in analog/mixed-signal IC design, strong leadership, and the ability to work on complex systems. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Electronic Engineering degree with 8+ years’ experience as an analog/mixed signal IC designer.
• Knowledge of analog and mixed signal electronics, tools and flows.
• Experience with amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, switching power supplies, and audio.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Full cell or system ownership from architecture to implementation and debug.
• Experience integrating analog blocks in complex microcontroller systems is a plus.
• Some travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work within an analog/mixed-signal design team across Valencia site.
• Contribute to detailed definition and architecture development of high-performance mixed-signal devices.
• IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
• Present technical results to engineering teams and customers.
• Use design and verification techniques, tools and flows to meet objectives.
• Integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal systems.
• Support layout, lab evaluation and test to ensure delivery.
• Continue to improve analog design methodologies to reduce time and cost to market.
