Omya is seeking a Solutions Design Lead in Barcelona to drive end-to-end manufacturing process design and MES/MOM integration across plants. You will translate operational needs into functional requirements, supporting real-time tracking, inventory, and batch genealogy.

Collaborating with Operations, IT, and Supply Chain, you will help standardize global templates while allowing local adaptations, ensuring scalable solutions across the organization.

Formación

• 5–10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience in MES/MOM or related systems.
• Experience multi-plant/global environments with high variability.
• Knowledge of MES and ERP (SAP) integration; Traceability and inventory management.
• Background in mining, materials, chemicals, or process manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Define and validate end-to-end manufacturing processes (production, tank, packaging, labeling, inventory updates).
• Ensure processes reflect real operational practices with manual interventions and handling of exceptions.
• Translate operational needs into clear functional requirements for MES/MOM and related systems.
• Align with ERP SAP, loading/shipping/receiving, quality systems (LIMS), WMS and shopfloor systems (SCADA/PLC).
• Bridge planning and execution through feasible production plans aligned with plant constraints and S&OP.
• Work closely with plant teams to validate designs on-site and adapt solutions to local realities.
