Job summary

Sunbird is seeking a Business Sales Executive for Spain to drive on-site solar PPA sales to tenants and owner-occupiers across Spain. You will work closely with the Commercial Director to generate leads and close high-volume contracts, traveling throughout the country to meet customers at their premises.

The role requires a strong understanding of B2B electricity procurement, proven sales success in a high-volume environment, and a robust network of contacts in Spain.

Qualifications

• Must understand how businesses buy electricity or be able to learn quickly.
• Proven track record in high-volume B2B sales, ideally to tenants, owner-occupiers or facilities managers.
• Ability to execute high-impact sales strategies for the Spanish market.
• Established network of commercial property tenants, owners or facilities managers in Spain.
• Persuasive, resilient, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel across Spain.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify a steady pipeline of leads among tenants and owner-occupiers of retail, office, logistics and industrial properties.
• Implement Sunbird’s sales strategies tailored to the Spanish market.
• Lead origination and sale of PPAs with tenants and other on-site electricity users, converting leads into signed contracts.
• Meet weekly activity targets for calls, site visits and meetings; monthly targets for signed contracts.
• Present the savings offer clearly, handle objections and close.
• Support a variety of sales and marketing initiatives as directed by the Commercial Director.
