Remote is hiring a GP Lead for Spain to serve as the Spanish payroll subject matter expert within our Global Payroll Implementation team. You will guide customers from sales handover through parallel runs to the first live payroll.

You will configure payroll in A3, manage data loading and statutory setup, and maintain clear documentation. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams while embracing async work and global delivery.

Formación

• Extensive Spanish payroll experience in a client payroll environment.
• Expert knowledge of Spanish payroll legislation.
• Payroll implementation experience.
• Hands on experience with A3 and with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience in accounting and reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills for explaining payroll processes and issues to customers and other stakeholders.
• An analytical mindset and strong problem solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced, international environment, and to work largely asynchronously.
• A productivity mindset: you look for ways to improve and speed up your work.
• Spanish fluency and fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience working remotely is not required, but is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the subject matter expert for Spanish payroll, tax, social security, CBAs and employment requirements, and keep that knowledge current.
• Attend sales calls as the Spain payroll lead, and take part in sales handover, client handover and client kick off calls.
• Lead the planning, execution and monitoring of Spain global payroll implementations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Lead each implementation from inception through parallel runs and the first month of live payroll, before handing over to Payroll Operations.
• Configure and set up client payroll in A3, including data loading, validation and statutory setup (Social Security, IRPF, salary payment method).
• Keep a record of all decisions taken during the implementation, and give Payroll Operations full visibility, including the SOPs they need for business as usual.
