Job summary

bp is seeking a MED Regulatory Affairs professional to lead Spain regulatory coverage for Supply, Trading & Shipping. You will interpret regulatory developments under RED, ReFuelEU Aviation, and other rules, advising on commercial and compliance implications across Spain.

Based in Madrid with a hybrid office/remote setup, you will coordinate with EU teams and regulators, shaping bp's regulatory priorities and contributing to risk mitigation and opportunity capture in the Spanish market.

Qualifications

• University/College Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Fluent English and Spanish language skills are required.
• Strong regulatory/compliance background with ability to interpret legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory coverage for Spain within MED regulatory affairs for ST&S.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business guidance.
• Provide regulatory interpretation to benches and business teams.
• Maintain regulatory templates and compliance handbooks.
• Collaborate with cross-border regulatory teams in France and Portugal.
