Verdalia Bioenergy is seeking an Environmental Technician in Madrid to drive new biomethane projects from site selection to permitting and Ready-to-Build. You will combine hands-on fieldwork with data analysis and regulatory reporting, ensuring environmental compliance across Spain.

The role offers a hybrid model with one remote day per week and regular travel to sites. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in environmental compliance and fluent Spanish with strong English skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in environmental compliance or field assessments.
• Experience with environmental permitting in renewable energy or industrial projects.
• Solid knowledge of environmental data analysis and regulatory reporting.
• Good knowledge of Spanish environmental regulations.
• Fluent Spanish and a good command of English.
• Driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across Spain.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and analyse environmental data from project sites to assess impacts.
• Carry out field assessments during site selection and development.
• Support environmental permit applications and follow-up conditions.
• Prepare environmental reports for authorities and project decisions.
• Contribute to sustainability initiatives across the project portfolio.
• Collaborate with Permitting, Engineering and HSQE teams and external labs.
