Job summary

easyJet holidays is seeking a Purchasing Manager for Spain to manage hotel contracts, grow the partner base, and optimize availability and pricing for our holiday portfolio.

You will work with hotel partners across Spain, negotiate terms, monitor performance, and collaborate with Marketing and sustainability initiatives to drive sales and margins. Travel across destinations is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong hotel contracting experience within a tour operator or travel business.
• A good understanding of FIT contracting and factors influencing hotel performance.
• Established relationships with hotel decision makers across beach destinations.
• Experience managing hotel contracts through buying lifecycle, including invoicing and queries.
• Experience with channel managers and dynamic sourcing would be an advantage.
• Confidence to manage workload within established processes.
• A flexible approach and ability to work across areas when needed.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Contract hotels that meet requirements, negotiate rates, availability, and terms.
• Develop relationships with existing hotel partners to increase availability and performance.
• Identify new hotels to strengthen the Spain portfolio.
• Monitor day-to-day trading and address issues affecting sales with partners.
• Find opportunities to improve sales and margin through offers and distribution activity.
• Manage contracted hotels across availability, rate content, invoicing and health and safety.
• Support partners with new systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Leverage local market knowledge to shape plans for destinations.
• Build relationships with local government bodies and work with Marketing on campaigns.
