Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Market Manager based in Barcelona to drive the health and growth of our Spain supply, focusing on Hotels and regional expansion. You will manage relationships, optimize discounts and availability, and develop scalable, localized supply strategies for Barcelona and beyond, collaborating with product, policy and operations teams.

You bring 5+ years in new sales or account management, strong data skills, and proven cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in new sales, account management and partner support.
• 2+ years of tech/travel industry experience is a plus.
• Proven track record managing a book of business.
• Proficient data analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to work at strategic and tactical levels in ambiguity.
• Cross-functional collaboration with multiple teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients.
• Charismatic self-starter with strong time management.
• CRM software proficiency; Salesforce experience a plus.
• Fluent Spanish and English; other European languages welcome.
• Based in Barcelona; willingness to travel regularly across Spain.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and expand partner relationships within your territory to surpass targets.
• Conduct regular optimization calls and reviews with partners for strong partnerships.
• Manage and optimize portfolio of hotels in Spain, from independent to chains.
• Educate clients on product updates and relay feedback to stakeholders.
• Use data to identify growth opportunities and allocate resources efficiently.
• Develop and implement unique engagement projects with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, policy, legal, tax, and support teams.
• Acquire knowledge of Spanish market trends to inform internal/external stakeholders.
• Understand PMS and channel manager tech to support hosts and guests.
