Oxford University Press (OUP) España seeks a General Manager in Spain to lead the branch, reporting to the Managing Director of English Language Teaching. You will own the P&L, steer a high-calibre team and drive growth aligned with ELT strategy in a dynamic education market.

You will shape priorities, build key external relationships, drive innovation, and ensure ethical governance while expanding revenue across products, services, partnerships and assessment solutions.

Formación

• Senior leader with board/executive experience in educational publishing or education tech.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategy and drive growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility and business development.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor market conditions and align strategy with group priorities.
• Develop a clear five‑year plan to ensure sustainable growth and revenue expansion.
• Full accountability for branch revenue, profitability and investments.
• Lead sales, partnerships, digital services and assessment solutions growth.
• Drive innovation and digital transformation, including the use of AI to improve customer value.
• Build external relationships with institutions, distributors and industry bodies.
