Oxford University Press (OUP) España seeks a General Manager in Spain to lead the branch, reporting to the Managing Director of English Language Teaching. You will own the P&L, steer a high-calibre team and drive growth aligned with ELT strategy in a dynamic education market.
You will shape priorities, build key external relationships, drive innovation, and ensure ethical governance while expanding revenue across products, services, partnerships and assessment solutions.
We are looking to appoint a new General Manager in Spain, reporting directly to the Managing Director, English Language Teaching, and serving as a key member of the ELT Senior Leadership Team with a significant influence on the future success of both Spain and the wider division.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy for OUP España, aligned with the ELT divisional strategy, and for delivering sustainable growth. The successful candidate will have full accountability for the branch P&L, while leading a highly capable team and ensuring Oxford remains strongly positioned in a dynamic and evolving education market.
Working closely with colleagues across the ELT division and Group Functions, the General Manager will shape strategic priorities, build key external relationships, drive innovation and digital transformation, and identify new growth opportunities across products, services, partnerships and assessment solutions. They will be instrumental in scanning the market, identifying opportunities, managing risks and ensuring the highest standards of ethical conduct.
