American Express seeks a Senior Manager, Financial Risk Management for Spain CRO to lead the second line of defense and strengthen governance across AESEA & AEPE markets. The role operates in Madrid with a hybrid model, reporting to the GRC function and collaborating with LE/regulators to ensure risk controls and compliant frameworks.

Formación

• 5+ years of leadership experience in risk management or a similar role.
• Experience interacting with regulators and familiarity with Spanish and European regulatory landscape.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Advanced degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in RAF refresh and align LE metrics with Enterprise.
• Provide Financial Risk credible challenge to LE projects and forums.
• Understand Financial Risk profile of LE from data and reporting.
• Be main point of contact for Financial Risk for LE regulator, Audit and LE leadership.
• Lead LE Financial Risk policies and frameworks; communicate risks between LE and Enterprise.
• Coordinate with Enterprise on 2nd Line testing and remediation oversight.
• Develop LE metrics dashboards aligned with regulations.
• Review and challenge models impacting the ILE.
• Lead a Financial Risk analyst.
