Hill Robinson Limited seeks an experienced Engineer for a 35m private motor yacht based in Palma, Mallorca. Immediate start and a long-term commitment are expected.

You will maintain yacht engineering systems, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and manage day-to-day operations with minimal supervision. Applicants must already be resident in Spain with the right to live and work and to pay tax.

Formación

• Must have previous experience as an engineer aboard similar-sized motor yachts.
• Strong technical knowledge of yacht engineering systems, machinery, and maintenance.
• Ability to manage day-to-day engineering operations independently.
• Proactive in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Organised and reliable with accurate technical records.
• Seeking a permanent position with long-term commitment.
• Ideally already settled in Mallorca.
• Must possess documentation to live, work and pay tax in Spain.

An excellent permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Engineer to join a 35m private motor yacht based in Palma, Mallorca.

The yacht is looking for a reliable, technically capable Engineer who is seeking long‑term stability.

The ideal candidate will already be established in Mallorca and hold the necessary documentation to live and work in Spain as a tax‑paying resident.

Start date: Immediate

Itinerary: Mediterranean

Package: Salary paid in Euros, salary and leave package DOE

Experience / Skills required

• Previous experience as an Engineer aboard similar‑sized motor yachts
• Strong technical knowledge of yacht engineering systems, machinery and planned maintenance
• Confident managing day‑to‑day engineering operations independently
• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
• Organised, reliable and committed to maintaining accurate technical records
• Seeking a permanent position with a genuine long‑term commitment
• Ideally already settled in Mallorca
• Must possess the necessary documentation to live, work and pay tax in Spain

Qualifications required

• Minimum Y4 Certificate of Competency
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate
