McMaster Yachts Crew is seeking a Chief Engineer for a 45m+ private sailing yacht, currently based in Spain. You will oversee all engineering operations and maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and maintain efficient performance during worldwide cruising itineraries. Rotation is 10 weeks on, 10 off.

Start date: 30 September in SOF. Requirements include B1/B2 in hand, MEOL/AEC or Y4/Y3 certificates, driving license, fluent English, and a clean lifestyle with minimal tattoos.

• Chief Engineer 45m+ S.Y

• Rotation on a 10/10 basis

• You will NOT be paid during your time off, but great opportunity if you want to progress with certificates, or do some racing.

• Private Boat with American owners

• World Cruising

• Currently based in Spain

• Position starts 30th September in SOF

• The role involves overseeing all engineering operations and maintenance for the vessel, ensuring compliance with safety standards and efficient performance during worldwide cruising itineraries.

• Boat has a cat c32 which is 1000KW and GRT 269.

• Interdepartmental cross over a must.

• Boat operates privately, but runs voluntary Cayman Island compliance and Lloyds classification.

• Family boat with 7 multinational crew and very sociable owners who like to include crew in their experience

• MEOL, AEC or Y4/Y3

• You must have B1B2 in hand

• Minimum visible tattoos, non-smoker, clean living, social alcohol consumer, must hold a full driving license

• Fluent English a must.
