Freyrecruitment seeks an Engineer for a 32m high-performance private sailing yacht. The role is part of a continuous world-cruising programme across the Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA East Coast, with Palma as a start location in October.

The ideal candidate has a solid engineering background and prior yacht experience on vessels of similar size, plus some deck duties and strong watersports skills; B1/B2 visa advantageous but not essential.

A 32m high-performance private sailing yacht is seeking an Engineer to join its active, world-cruising programme.

This is a dual season program between the Mediterranean, Caribbean and USA East Coast.

The owners are active and hands-on, enjoy sailing every day while onboard. They are also heavily involved in watersports. Owner trips generally last between one and three weeks.

The ideal candidate will be have a good engineering background and previous experience aboard yachts of a similar size. There will be some deck duties too and therefore they require and experienced sailor as well.

Strong watersports and kitesurfing skills would be a particular advantage.

• Salary: DOE
• Leave: TBC, approximately 42 days per year
• B1/B2 visa advantageous but not essential
• Start date & Location: Palma, October
