Verisure in Alicante, Spain is seeking a Software Developer to join the Technology Department, delivering high-quality software aligned with business objectives and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in .NET/C#, SQL Server, SOLID/WCF/MVC, Angular/Node.js, and DevOps-style practices in a fast-paced environment. Power Apps, ASP.NET and Azure DevOps/Jenkins are a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• +5 years proven experience with Visual Studio, C# .NET Framework / .NET Core.
• +5 years of SQL Server development, complex queries and objects.
• +5 years experience in SOLID, WCF, MVC, Visual Code, Sonar or similar tools, NuGet, jQuery.
• +2 years of experience in Angular & Node.js.
• SSIS or ETL process experience.
• Agile experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Nice to have: Power Apps, ASP.NET, Jenkins/Azure DevOps.

About The Role

We now have the opportunity for a Software Developer to join our Technology Department, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high‑quality software solutions, ensuring they align with our business objectives and meet the highest industry standards. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and deliver.

The role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres – our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe’s largest IoT platforms, we’re building something big, and we’re just getting started in Alicante.

We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, adapts quickly when priorities shift, and enjoys solving challenges in fast‑moving environments.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Guide Development Team through DevOps culture
• Evolve and maintain application building pipelines based on various technologies

Candidate Profile

Technical Skills:

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineer or Telecommunications, or related field.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Required technical expertise and knowledge of:
• + 5 years proven experience Visual Studio y C# Net framework / Net Core
• + 5 years of solid experience in SQL Server: Develop and design complex SQL queries and database objects (stored procs, views,…). Maintenance, performance tuning.
• + 5 years proven experience working on: SOLID, WCF, MVC, Visual Code, Use of Sonar or similar tools, NuGet Package, jQuery
• + 2 years proven experience working in Angular & Node JS
• SSIS or ETL Process experience
• Agile and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Will be a plus: Power App, ASP NET, ASP Classic and Jenkins / Azure DevOps
