About the role

We now have the opportunity for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Technology Department. We are looking for a highly driven, talented and experienced developer.

The role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres – our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe’s largest IoT platforms, we’re building something big, and we’re just getting started in Alicante.

Our Digital Channels department is at the heart of product innovation—developing and evolving key applications like the MyVerisure app, used daily by millions of active users.

You’ll play a crucial role in the development of hybrid mobile solutions, combining native components with React‑based features to enable streaming integrations, smart device control, and process digitalization. From unlocking doors via mobile to delivering real‑time smart notifications, your work will directly influence how customers engage with their connected security services.

You’ll be embedded in one of several autonomous Scrum teams working within a product‑driven environment and DevOps mindset. With the company’s expansion to 17 countries, you’ll have exceptional opportunities for technical growth, cross‑team mobility, and professional development.

Candidate profile

You are a seasoned frontend developer with a strong foundation in React. You think customer‑first and thrive in agile environments where autonomy and ownership come standard. You can navigate complex technical challenges while keeping the user experience front and centre.

You bring a DevOps mindset, work comfortably in cross‑functional teams, and have the confidence to participate in product evolution and architectural discussions. You’re someone who values clean code, scalable solutions, and continuous delivery. If you’ve worked in fast‑paced environments with multicultural teams, you’re already speaking our language.

Essential Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in IT.
• Solid hands‑on experience with React JS.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

Highly Valued Qualifications

• Ability to integrate with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience in projects with high load of internal and external integration via web services using Rest APIs and JSON.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience interacting with micro services architecture.
• Java.
• Relational databases; SQL/PLSQL.
