Verisure in Alicante is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our technology team and help shape our frontend landscape. You’ll deliver high‑quality code and act as a technical reference and mentor for colleagues.

You’ll drive frontend direction, champion best practices, and seize growing ownership and leadership opportunities as the team scales across our global IoT platform.

Formación

• 10+ years of frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular (v17+), TypeScript and RxJS.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and Angular Material.
• Experience with state management (NgRx or similar).
• Familiarity with Jasmine/Karma testing and Agile (Scrum).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Understanding of APIs (OpenAPI) and databases like MongoDB.

We’re now looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our technology team and play a key role in shaping our frontend landscape. The role will be based at our new, additional, technology site in Alicante, Spain. Backed by over 1,700 technologists worldwide based across our three key technology centres – our primary technology hub in Geneva (Switzerland), supported by Madrid (Spain), and Malmö (Sweden), and powered by one of Europe’s largest IoT platforms, we’re building something big, and we’re just getting started in Alicante.

About The Role

This is a key position within the team, where we’re looking for someone senior who can not only deliver high-quality code but also act as a technical reference and mentor for others. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how we build frontend solutions, driving best practices, and elevating the overall quality and maturity of the team. There is clear growth potential in this role, and we’re looking for someone with the ambition to take on increasing technical ownership and leadership over time.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For – Key Tech Stack

• 10+ years of experience in frontend development
• Strong expertise in Angular (v17+), TypeScript, and RxJS
• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Angular Material)
• Experience with state management solutions (e.g., NgRx or similar)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma)
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and development tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube or similar)
• Understanding of APIs and integrations (OpenAPI)
• Experience working with MongoDB or similar databases
• Strong focus on code quality, scalability, and best practice
