Formulated Automation is seeking a detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support our client’s marketing operations. You will work with the Marketing Manager to keep social media activities running smoothly, including scheduling content, editing short-form videos, writing captions, and managing content calendars.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience publishing and scheduling social media content for a brand, business, or agency.
• Basic short-form video editing skills, including adding captions.
• Strong written and spoken English skills for captions, emails, and scripts.
• Proficiency in Canva for creating quick graphics.
• Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day content workflows.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability in managing deadlines and shared task boards.
• Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Publish and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Confirm that each post goes live correctly, with the appropriate caption, format, and links.
• Monitor comments and messages, routing legal questions and potential client inquiries to the appropriate team members rather than responding directly.
• Keep the content calendar and shared task board up to date.
• Track deadlines for every piece of content and flag potential delays early.
• Edit short-form video clips for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including adding captions.
• Write captions, short email copy, and simple scripts.
• Create quick graphics in Canva using established brand templates.
• Use AI tools to streamline captioning, resizing, and content repurposing.
• Submit any content involving legal matters for attorney review before publication.
• Organize raw footage, assets, and files in shared folders.
• Assist with ad creative and basic tasks related to Meta and Google Ads campaigns as needed.
