Job summary

Darkroom is seeking a Video Editor to join its internal Marketing Team. You will craft engaging, platform-native videos for Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn, transforming podcasts, events, and interviews into high-impact content.

With 3–4+ years of experience, you will master Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, Photoshop and motion graphics, telling stories with pace and rhythm that perform across formats and channels.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience editing content for social-first brands, creators, or agencies.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, Photoshop and motion graphics.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and rhythm to build content that sustains attention.
• Experience editing for performance across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Reels.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce standout content across short-form and long-form formats.
• Create native video formats optimized for IG, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and X.
• Build hooks, add overlays, captions, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Turn podcasts, webinars, and interviews into platform-native videos.
• Collaborate with Video Lead on edits, structure, and narrative framing.
• Organize footage and manage a scalable content pipeline.
• Refine editing strategies based on performance data.
• Test hooks and formats to optimize reach and engagement.
• Stay ahead of editing trends and platform changes.
