Job summary

Ivoclar EMEA in Madrid is seeking a Social Media Content Manager to develop and manage a dynamic content calendar, write on-brand captions, and oversee visual content with design, production & brand teams.

You will collaborate with Brand and CX teams to set guidelines, drive content strategy, and ensure a consistent tone across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels.

Qualifications

• University degree in marketing, communications or related field.
• Strong English copywriting and ability to create engaging content.
• Experience with social media marketing in a global or multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a dynamic social media content calendar aligned with campaigns, launches, and brand goals.
• Write engaging, on-brand captions and post copy for each platform.
• Produce or oversee visual content including graphics, reels, and videos with design teams.
• Collaborate with Brand and CX teams to create clear global/local guidelines and processes.
• Support in shaping overall content strategy and assets for social media and online channels.
• Communicate calendars and content repurposing opportunities to markets.
• Work with the Social Execution and Community Management team to maintain consistent tone and share UGC.
• Partner with the Digital Marketing Data Analyst to drive performance insights.
• Help evolve social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and more.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, platform updates and emerging tools.

Your role

• Develop and manage a dynamic social media content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, corporate focus and brand goals.
• Write engaging, on-brand captions and post copy tailored to each platform.
• Produce and/or oversee the creation of visual content including graphics, reels, videos, carousels, and stories in collaboration with design,production & brand teams.
• Work closely with the Brand and CX team to create clear guidelines and processes for social media globally and locally.
• Support in creating overall content strategy and creating assests for Social Media as well as for online communication channels.
• Regular communication to the markets about calender and content that can be repurposed.
• Work closely with the Social Execution and Community Management team to ensure consistent tone of voice and content sharing of UGC.
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing Data Analyst to ensure a performance driven outcome.
• Help define and evolve our social media strategy with digital marketing team across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, platform updates, and emerging tools

Your profile

• Professional training or completed studies at a university of applied sciences/university with specialization in the field of communication, new media or marketing.
• Work experience in the field of marketing and in dealing with social media
• Strong copywriting skills (excellent in English) and ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment.
• Excellent English language skills are required in both verbal and written, German is a plus
• Organization and communication skills, creativity and a good sense of language, interest in new media, independent and proactive way of working, ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility.
