Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a QA/QC Site Engineer to lead on-site quality assurance at Alcudia or Castellon, Spain. You will implement QA/QC procedures, coordinate with project teams, clients and contractors, and drive continuous improvement to meet directives, standards and technical specs.

You will guide ITPs/FQPs, manage NCRs, and deliver training to site personnel and subcontractors, using strong communication in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering or quality management.
• Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, CWI, NDT Level II, or ASQ preferred.
• Proven site QA/QC experience in EPC or HVDC projects is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical construction standards; welding; supplier quality.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all site quality functions across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Implement site QA/QC plans, ITPs and FQPs to ensure compliance.
• Attend kick-off meetings, quality reviews and inspections with clients and third parties.

Join us as a QA/QC Site Engineer, where you will be the cornerstone of quality assurance on-site! Imagine leading the charge in ensuring that all quality requirements are met according to directives, standards, and technical specifications. You will act as the primary quality advisor to the site team, coordinating with project teams, clients, and contractors to uphold the highest quality standards. Your expertise will guide the implementation of QA/QC procedures, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support our business objectives.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Lead and coordinate all site quality functions across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Ensure the successful implementation of site-specific quality plans, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and Field Quality Plans (FQPs).
• Participate in kick-off meetings, quality reviews, and acceptance inspections with clients and third parties, overseeing inspections and tests for proper documentation and traceability.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in collaboration with the project team, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Provide quality training to site personnel and subcontractors, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting audits and internal reviews.

What You Bring

• A degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, CWI, NDT Level II, or ASQ are preferred.
• Proven experience in site-based QA/QC roles, ideally within EPC or HVDC projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards (civil, mechanical, electrical), welding procedures, and supplier quality management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, with proficiency in both Spanish and English.
